Medea - A shadow came see me
"I do not usually provide services at night, but I suppose you could be an unique exception." (...) "So, what exactly brings you here?" (...) "... Of course, everyone wants to know if they're headed the path they want in life. But will you do with your present? Have you learned anything from the past?" "..." "I suppose I'm about to find out."
*She sits in front of her table, shuffling around the cards, allowing him time to take the rest of the tent in
*Finally, she sets them on the table in a near flawless line
"Pick nine cards. Take your time for this, but try not to overthink it."
*As he pulls out one card after the other, she places them in order away from the others
*He accidentally picks two instead of just one, but she reassures him
"Do not worry. Let the cards do as they please."
*At last, 10 cards are now facing down in order. She starts to slowly turn them so they face up
"Three cards for your past."
"Four cards for your present."
"And three cards for your future."
*She makes a small pause to analyze
"Hmm.... Two reversed cards-"
"-and two cards of Swords."
"Very big events one after the other, with little space for smaller attributes. You are clearly very ambitious. But let's see if ambition is a virtue or a sin in your case"
*She goes on to point at every card as he explanation starts
"I see you can be unpredictable when you want to be, and that taking chances is normal in your life. Perhaps you've always felt you had a destined future, a fate you wouldn't have had in your old life, whatever it might have been."
"So you left, parting away from everyone you used to know. Perhaps you learned along the way, or you learned of something great that you chose to try to sate your desires."
"And by following your aspiration, your old self died. You were reborn as the person you are today, but whether or not that is a good thing is up to you."
"I can imagine you enjoy your new self, but that others don't as much. You exploit the fears and insecurities of others. Your mind works differently from everyone else, so whether you already did or are currently facing a hard situation, you hide your real feelings so you won't be discovered that easily."
"You are holding hope onto someone, that you are sure will come to see things the way you do. Perhaps they are what will guarantee your future, but there's always a chance that they won't."
"You have made or are thinking of making some kind of attempted contact with this person, but the ways you do things could result wrong. You may be feeling betrayed, or that your previous attempt was a failure, but maybe it's time to stop, before you make a truly unwise move that will ruin everything for you."
"Maybe you feel guilty about the failures of your previous attempts, but you are stubborn, so you will keep on trying. This could turn into obsession, if it isn't one already, so maybe it's time to unwind and free yourself from these desires, before it's too late."
"Maybe you will finally accept that it's a fruitless effort, and move on to new things in your life, but it won't be a smooth path. With new opportunities come new challenges, and it'll be up to you if you truly want to change or not."
"But swallowing your pride will not be easy for you. Your mood will be the most affected in a negative sense, you may lose the trust of those close to you and friends might end up leaving. You might be able to overcome this, but there's also chances that you won't."
"You will need to careful if you want to avoid this one. If you do not change from your current behaviors, only destruction awaits you-"
*She doesn't get to finish as he lunges at her

how did Helia die, was she killed or passed away at old age
It was a combination of old age and magic-related health problems.
Her 5th child was the only one of her kids who actually had a father, but since his conception was also asexual, it drained a lot of magic and energy from Helia, who was already growing very old.
Unfortunately, her body was too exhausted and she suffered a miscarriage, so her baby Marc never got to actually breath.
Throughout the next three years after that tragedy, Helia started to lose her ability to move and eventually to even speak.
She died in 1978, in her friend Issac's arms.
(Btw, Marc's middle name is his dad's name, but I'm not revealing his identity just yet)

Oooo 4 , 6 and 7 for the MiM menace trio plz!
4. Does your OC have a failed friendship or relationship they still think about? What happened? Is it an unresolved regret or is there a chance for reconciliation?
Azrael- None, he regrets nothing
Issac - Something to be hinted towards later is that Issac had family, family he does not speak to anymore, and left. He won't say why he left, and him becoming what he is now is him accepting he will never reconcile with them.
Melani - Some time after she met Azrael she had a spat with some of her sisters, who did not like him and did not like Melani leaving her responsibilities to hang around him, her sisters were pretty divided, half going with Melani and half who didn't like Azrael. They left Mayweather before she was trapped in the church, and a part of her regrets never speaking to them again, if she did see them again they likely would reconcile, but she has no clue where they went.
6. Does your OC know magic? Were they born with magical ability or did they train to acquire it? What is their favorite type of magic? Least favorite?
Azrael - Born with magical abilities and was taught how to use them by his adoptive parent, his eldritch magic is based in whats called "The Unknown" in MiM. He has the ability to shapeshift, use telekinesis and telepathy, the ability to alter a person's mind, possess another person for a short period of time, and turn others into monsters, he enjoys these abilities and doesn't really have a least favorite.
Issac - He gained a few abilities after becoming a shadowman. He has the ability to travel through shadows and shapeshift his body to be taller, the only thing that bothers him is that most of these things need darkness, and he can't do it in the light.
Melani - Other than a healing factor she doesn't have any magic powers
7. Does your OC like their natural hair color or do they dye it? What styles do they prefer?
Both Azrael and Issac prefer their hair as is, Even presented with the option of change they would not change their hair. Melani is jealous humans can color their hair, it doesnt work on her feathers, otherwise she totally would.

(Married Anon) Story 1 - Unexpected Help
It was happening again. Pain all around his stomach and forehead, the feeling that his body was melting from the inside due to an invisible heat.
Aaron didn't even think of waking up Josh or Selena while in this unsufferable pain, placing all of his energies in running towards the kitchen.
Maybe drinking some water could help.
But when he placed the full cup to his lips and tried to swallow, he almost as quickly regurgitated it back up. He just couldn't.
The pain was now on his neck too, and the heat that seemed to consume him grew even more.
He could do little but lower himself to the floor before laying down. It offered some relief from the temperature, but not enough.
Aaron didn't even notice he had curled himself up from the sheer size of the pain, which didn't let him do anything besides heaving in pain.
He just hoped one of his housemates would eventually hear him.
--
Issac had finally managed to sneak into the apartment, being very careful with the time and not grabbing the attention of the witch.
He had hoped finding and catching Aaron would be easy, and although him running straight into the kitchen had been a string of luck, the Shadowman's grin soon disappeared when the boy threw up and slowly dropped to the floor.
It was impressive how the other two didn't seem to have heard him yet, their friend panting and wailing in agony.
Issac carefully approached, trying not to accidentally step on the boy, before tentatively placing his palm on the younger's forehead. He quickly retrieved it.
Aaron was sweating all over, no doubt, but he was also boiling, like a caldron of water above a fireplace. This was strange, because Aaron wasn't human, not really, so whatever it was that had managed to cause this, it was something that could not be ignored.
Issac decided to look where Aaron's pain seemed to be worse, his chest, at least that was where the boy's hands seemed to indicate.
He was met with no resistence as he warily got the boy to lay on his back and got his arms out of the way.
Pushing down his shirt collar, he started to see something red. And he did not like the possibility one bit.
Finally, even with Aaron's pained breathing, he saw it completely. An old friend he thought had completely disappeared, ever since medicine started developing faster at least.
Scarlet fever.
Taking the boy back to Azrael would be an odd choice, given the state he was in, but it was the only option with no big risks.
Waking up the other two was out of the question, but so was waiting for them to wake up by themselves, because for all he knew, that could take hours, and he could not risk Aaron experiencing something close to death.
He'd die himself if he placed one foot inside a hospital, but he also couldn't go back to his liege empty-handed.
Growing larger, so he could better carry the boy in his arms, he made haste back to the shadows.
The living room's lights turned on before he fully disappeared.
--
Aaron felt like his senses were constantly turning on and off.
One moment it was like he was flying, and then like he was being suffocated in the other.
He heard voices for a few seconds, and after that, it got so silent for so long that he almost felt scared.
One minute felt like someone was stabbing him in the back, the other was spent feeling like a cloud was carrying him.
Then the heat and the pain returned, but somehow less intense.
Someone held his head up with one hand, and he could smell again, though it wasn't a pleasant scent.
It was definitely some kind of tea or liquid medicine, because it smelled like plants but was also just so repulsive.
And apparently, someone he couldn't recognize noticed.
"I know, I know, but you need this."
Had he heard their voice before? It sounded so familiar. A breathy voice with a cold tone that made him feel unsettled, but calm enough he didn't feel threatened.
He was too overwhelmed and tired to remember properly.
Whatever the liquid was, when they held a piece of ceramic to his lips, he managed to take three sips of the tasteless thing, before turning his head to the side. He just wanted the smell to go away.
They seemed to understand.
--
Someone was passing cloth over his forehead. He knew he must still be sweating, but he just couldn't feel it.
He could feel a small weight over him, but it felt warm instead of heavy.
Still, a sudden cold appeared, and a shiver ran down his whole body without warning.
Whoever the other person in the room was, they stopped what they were doing, and he felt like sneezing, but it didn't come out.
"What do you feel?" They asked, almost whispering.
He had heard them before, he just didn't remember when.
"…Cold" His voice came out weakly, almost trembling.
They readjusted the weight (blankets?) and he fell into unconsciousness once more.
--
He could finally open his eyes.
An orange hue, coming from the fireplace in the opposite wall, filled the room, and the fire's crackling almost invited him to go back to sleep.
But then a small panic came, even through his exhaustion.
The room looked old, and strangely enough, like one from a church. He was almost buried beneath blankets, and his chest felt cold with what he assumed was some kind of cream.
There was a stool between the door and its frame, forcing it to remain half opened, and through the gap, Aaron saw at least two shadows of people, two really tall people, walkinga around and talking.
He could almost recognize them, but he was too tired to remember their faces.
One question did, however, linger.
How did he get here?
OOOO!!!! This is really good!
#this is a pretty interesting scenario#your writing slaps#oh my boyo aaron#monsters in mayweather#also issac having a nice moment for once#i wish i had more words THIS IS GOOD!!!
